December 2000
The end of the 1st New Millennium year or the start
of the New Millennium, which every you believe to be right, I think you would
agree that in Fulstow the year 2000 has been one to be remembered. Starting
with the EXCELLENT New Year Party through to the free Street
Party and Derek Wardle winning his highly coveted prize of a day trip to Butlins
for winning the Balloon Race ( found off East Corsica). The village would also like to welcome Pete, Shirley & Vikki,
to the Cross Keys and hope that they will enjoy there first Christmas &
New Year with the residents of the village. This is the first of either a monthly or bi-monthly newsletter
to be put out through the village. You as villagers can decide what you want
everyone else to know about . So if you have a Birthday, Birth, Wedding Anniversary
or anything you think other villagers would be interested in then let us know,
even if its a moan or complaint. Anybody wanting to contribute should contact either Karen Nurrish,
Guy Acton, Tony Vessey, Nicola Pike or any other member of the Village Hall
Committee by the 3rd Friday of the prior month to make sure your
piece is included. A little note on November the "Talk of the Town" was,
as ever excellent this year and a big "Thank You"
to all who supported, to all the ladies who all volunteer their time FOC,
especially Pauline French & Paula Vessey for the wonderful food, and most
of all the Players, whos hard work and dedication is amazing year
after year. Diary Events All
