September 2001

Has it been warm enough for you ?

Well, most of you will have been away or are due to come home from you holidays soon so we hope everyone has had a good break away from home.

Family Nights at the Village hall during the school break have been a great success & enjoy by all, a big Thank-you to Julie Good for preparing the family quiz each night & to Guy Acton for manning the bar & everyone who supported.

The teenagers do not seem to want anymore Disco’s or clubs organising for them due to the lack of interest at the last Disco. The same with summer club for the primary children with the massive attendance of 4 children.  This summer break seems to have been taken up with climbing over the Village Hall roof, setting fire to the bin & hedges on the field behind the Village Hall, littering, breaking bottles & generally making a mess.
