Fulstow Newsletter - December 2002

Red and Green
can only mean one thing
Christmas is near
Santa is almost here
The reindeer are ready
The snow is falling steady
People are cheery
The elves are weary
Santa's ride is always a success
He never fails to give his best
Once the morning comes
and Santa is done
Christmas begins
After church
and much dessert
The family comes together for a wonderful day
Remembering the baby once asleep in the hay

I would personally like to thank Mrs Joyce Marshall Snr, Mr Frank Bradbury, Mrs Paula Vessey, Mr Nigel French, Karen Nurrish & anyone else who delivers this newsletter each month come sun, rain & snow for all their help. Plus I need someone to deliver the Crescent each month please.

I think the whole village would like to send their thoughts & prayers to everyone who has lost a loved one this year, especially to Joan Clark & Family, George, Jill & Carol Sutton, Gladys Chapman & Family, Derek & Margaret Wardall & of course I am sure everyone will have a drink for Cyril Brown this Xmas.

The Parish Council is still looking for a secretary/clerk this is a paid position & anybody who can give a few hours a month should contact either Mr Frank Bradbury or Mr Fred Butt 363362

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a little late) to Sally Evans who has reached the big 40 also, Bethany Leaning 9, to Kaz Nurrish & Joanne Malone on Christmas Eve and I am sure anyone wanting to buy either of them a glass of lemonade in the pub that evening would be most welcome.
