Open Gardens :- Raised approx £700 for the Church & Chapel well done to all who helped & organised, it takes a lot of work. Hospice Luncheon – Raised £130.00 Well done and a big thank you to everyone who helped & turned out. Family Keep Fit – Starting the 1st Tuesday of the summer holidays in the Hall, Primary school Children 10.30 – 11.30am then over 12's 11.30 – 12.30am . | War Memorial – WOW, we have had donations from all over towards the cost of the memorial, so it was decided that the plaque will be in Green Slate with gold lettering and be placed in the wall of the hall porch. Two smaller plaques will also be made one each for Church & Chapel. On Wednesday 6 th we had a film crew with Ian Hislop filming at the hall for a series on Channel 4 which should be aired on November 10 th . Thank you to all who helped prepare food & gave interviews, brought medals & photo's etc |
