Our deepest sympathy's go to Mrs. Grace Willerton, Robert, and Janet & children on the sudden loss of Maurice last week. Mr. Willerton was a real Fulstow gentleman. Mr. Willerton was a quiet man he came to Fulstow as a very young child and lived and farm in the village throughout his life. He was big supporter of the chapel and during the last war he served with Fulstow's own Royal Observatory Corps of which he was very proud.

A service to celebrate Mr. Willerton's life will be held at:
St Lawrence at 4.30pm on Friday 5 th May

Also this month we lost my hermit friend Mr. John (Jack) Marwood, Jack came to the village in the early 1960's and was not known to many due to his choice of way of life. Jack will be buried at Fulstow church on Friday 5 th May service at 10.30am.

Congratulations to Ginny Askam from The Lord Nelson who completed the Flora London Marathon in just over 4 hours. She raised over £3000 for Breakthrough for Breast Cancer and would like to thank everyone who sponsored her.

Friday 12 th May - Fulstow Juniors “Talk of the Town” Based on the success previous shows this year there will me fun, singing and much more. Children and young adults will be performing. Tickets are available from Tel: 363405 and will include dinner. Full details on web site www.fulstow.net

Saturday 13 th May –In Fulstow Village Hall National favorites, New Rope String Band They play a big assortment of things and all sorts of hoedown, pan-Celtic old -timey , up-beat down-home music. All this is combined with bizarre physical nonsense and clowning about. And singing. And dancing.

The sheer visualosity and laughableness of the New Rope String Band, plus a large quantity of interesting things will bring pleasure to absolutely everyone.
