OPEN GARDENS
We would like to remind everyone that the Fulstow Open Gardens event takes place on June 15th. If there is anyone who wishes to open their gardens for the afternoon, or even volunteer to help out in other ways, for example, baking cakes for the cake stall or supplying books for the book stall, would they please contact either Joyce Marshall Snr. on 363200 or Susan Newborough on 363660, they will be made most welcome.
FULSTOW CHURCH
Many thanks to those people who are cutting the grass at the Church and generally keeping the Churchyard tidy, it is much appreciated.
On the subject of the Church, the new gates are now finished and in place. They look absolutely fantastic and our sincere thanks go to Dave Thornes for all his work and skill in making them, and to the people who helped him erect them. To those who have not yet seen them, a walk round to the church is well worth it, as the gates are really a beautiful sight.
FULSTOW SCHOOL
We are desperate for anyone with a current lifeguard certificate to help with the swimming at school from week commencing June 9th. .Anyone who could help or know someone who we could approach:
DON’T MISS IT
On Saturday June 28th, Richard Askam has organised an evening of rock n roll music taking place in a beautiful location at Thorganby, near Rothwell. Several bands are lined up to play starting at 6pm, there will be a licensed beer tent, burger van and camping is available if you want to get into the festival spirit. It is a charity event in aid of the local church, so a donation of £5 per adult will be asked for on arrival but under 16's are FREE. The gates open at 4pm and the internationally renowned Bush Doctors will be the headline act! Go and enjoy yourself – you know you want to!!
Race for Life – in Fulstow on June 22nd
If you would like to join in this event for Breast Cancer and don't want to run in Louth or Cleethorpes, do it in the village.

Entry will be a minimum of £5.00 donation, but you can be sponsored if you want.

Apologies to Pete Oliver – 65 last month – nobody told me, I can’t know everything!! But I try.
Also to George Marshall – sorry George, I now know it’s not your birthday till later in the year. I just can’t rely on my informants these days!!
Congratulations
To Ian & Caroline Brewitt (nee Bradbury) on the birth of their son Joseph William on 16th May. – 7lb 13oz
First grandchild for Alan & Ruth Bradbury.
Thoughts for this month!!
To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.
I read about the evils of drinking . . . so I gave up reading.
