Minutes of the Meeting of Fulstow Parish Council

Held in the Village Hall at 7.30pm

On Thursday 11 th January 2007 . 

Attending:-F. Bradbury, F. Butt, D. Thornes, P. Oliver, and District Councillor D. Stephenson.

•  Apologies for Absence:- S. Carpenter, R. Donovan and D. Wardle.

•  Minutes of the Meeting held 9 th November 2006 were agreed as a true record and duly signed by the Chairman.

•  No Matters arising were raised.

•  East Lindsey Corporate Strategy – Second Draft Consultation:- the content of this comprehensive document was noted by the Council.

•  The Council noted the content of the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Integrated Management Plan 2007-2010.

•  The Council approved the signature and issue of the following cheques:-

•  £25.00 – Donation to EL Citizens Advice Bureau

•  £250.00 – Donation from the Bullgrass Charity to Fulstow Village Hall Committee.

•  £730.00 – Clerk Salary for 2007: I.A. Steel.

•  Diversion of Public Right of Way Path 89, Main Street , adjoining Askew Cottage – the Council considered the information received from East Lindsey and decided no observation be made.

•  i) The Council noted the following planning decisions received from East Lindsey

•  Prior approval is not required for the siting appearance of 1 No 600mm and 1 No 300mm transmission dish, pole mounted to a free standing support platform on the roof of an existing lime silo together with associated feeder cable and new external equipment cabinet – Covenham Treatment Works, Firebeacon Lane – N/037/02669/06. The Council approved the Chairman's action in determining the application before the Meeting – Decision – No Observation.

•  Approved – to excavate land to form 1 No fish breeding pond and 1 No fishing pond , erection of embankments to a maximum height of 1.5m to be used by applicants and occupants of the adjoining holiday cottage complex – Land at Waingrove Farm Cottages, Station Road – N/056/02177/06

•  Refusal of Listed Building Consent – alterations to an existing house to provide 2 No replacement doors – Manor Farm, Churchthorpe – N/056/02391/06

•  Approved – erection of a detached dormer bungalow with an integral single garage – Land to the rear of the Village Hall, Main Street .

•  Approved – erection of access drive to serve existing residential dwelling and agricultural land – Beckwood House, Peartree Lane – N/056/02511/06

•  Approved – First floor extension at rear of existing dwelling to provide a balcony – Four Winds, Main Street – N/056/02287/06.

ii) Planning Consultation – Proposed replacement dwelling at Meadow Cottage, Bridge Lane – N/056/2860/06 – Decision – Object for the following reason:- The proposed new dwelling is of two storeys and is therefore, by its design and height, inappropriate and intrusive to the open countryside.

•  Any Other Business-

•  The Council considered a letter received from Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust (NHS) requesting a representative to attend a workshop relating to Shaping Local Heath Services – Deliberative Workshop Events at Tedder Hall on 26 th February 2007 – the Council decided not to send a representative.

•  The Council considered the newsletter and accompanying information from Lincolnshire Police Authority and asked the Clerk to complete and return the questionnaire relating to prioritisation.

•  Date of Next Meeting – 15 th March 2007 .

 
Peartree Lane will be closed for essential maintenance work for 4 weeks,
commencing 11th. June, 2007.
