Minutes of the Meeting of Fulstow Parish Council

Held in the Village Hall at 7.30pm

On Thursday 15 th March 2007 .

Attending:- F. Bradbury, F. Butt, D. Wardle, S. Carpenter, R. Donovan and
District Councillor D. Stephenson.

Apologies for Absence:- D. Thornes and P. Oliver.

  1. The Minutes of the Meeting held 11 th January 2007 were agreed as a true record and duly signed by the Chairman.
  2. Matters Arising:-

8(ii) the Council noted following a long discussion the application at Meadow Cottage, Bridge Lane had been withdrawn.

9(b) the Clerk informed the meeting that the questionnaire had been completed and returned to the Lincolnshire Police Authority.

  1. Grass Cutting Tender 2007 – the Clerk informed the Council that he had placed the tender advert for this year's Grass Cutting and Tree Lopping on the notice board with a closing date of 31 st March 2007 . The Council agreed in view of the timescale that the Chairman make the decision of appointment.
  2. East Lindsey Town and Parish Assembly – Tuesday 20 th March 2007 – the Council authorised the attendance of the Chairman and Clerk to the Assembly.
  3. Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh – the Council noted the community involvement meetings held in February.
  4. Community Leisure Project for Louth and Surrounding Areas – the Council noted the information received from the Communications Officer from East Lindsey D.C. offering to present a overview of the development of the project at a Parish Meeting. The Clerk was asked to make contact and offer the 10 th May 2007 as a suitable date.
  5. Review of Quality Town and Parish Scheme – the Council noted the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill which, if enacted, will introduce a statutory Quality Parish Scheme.
  6. Revised Model Code of Conduct for Local Authority Members – the Council noted the information contained in the revised document.
  7. Authorisation of Cheques – the Council approved the signature of the following:-

• I. Affiliation of CPRE for 2007/08 - Issue - £20.00

• II. Anglian Water – Water supply to village green – amount, when known, to be completed by the Clerk and reported to the next meeting.

  1. Planning Matters:-

• I. The Council noted the letter received from the Enforcement Officer, ELDC confirming no further action is to be taken as to retention of access drive, Land adj. to Beckwood House, Peartree Lane received approval under N/056/2511/06.

• II. Consultation – Ext. and alts. to existing dwelling to provide a first floor bedroom with en-suite and dining room – 26 Casswell Crescent N /056/00221/07 – Decision – No observations.

  1. Any Other Business – the Council considered a letter received from the Lincolnshire Playing Fields Association requesting financial assistance. The Council approved a donation of £25.00.
  2. Date of Next Meeting – 10 th May 2007 .
 
Peartree Lane will be closed for essential maintenance work for 4 weeks,
commencing 11th. June, 2007.
